Note Bottle labels for Cholera Morbus cures.
Summary Collection consists of five small text labels printed on white paper which were for affixing to bottles of Cholera Morbus cures. The labels range in size from 3 to 4 1/2 inches. Four of the labels have gummed backs; the remaining label is on plain paper. The names of the products are: Original Cholera Balm, McLaughlin's German Cholera Balm, McLaughlin's Magic Relief, Wade's Magic Oil, and Cholera Mixture.
Biography Cholera Morbus is an obsolete term for a gastrointestinal ailment characterized by fever, diarrhea and vomiting. It was believed to be caused by eating infected foods. The bottle labels represent different brand names, but all promise the same relief.
