	Bound in comtemporary limp vellum, 18th Century color-opainted arms of Este on frond and back covers, title hand-written on spine partly obliterated.
	"The covers of the present copy were painted, probably in the first half of the eighteenth century, with the arms of the Este family in blue-green, yellow and pink inside a gilt-stamped border. The dating is suggested by the fact that the arms form an as yet unidentified variation on those of Ercole II d’Este (1508-1555), but do not have the checkered Malaspina device added to the arms of Ercole III (1727-1803).
